Indie pop band China Bears are currently taking the south east by storm. With supporters like Steve Lamacq on BBC 6 Music, ‘Night Calls’ a recent Eagle Radio track of the week, and extensive touring coming up, catch them with an intimate acoustic set before they graduate to big festivals and stadiums. Spectral Nights recently wrote “Having recently been hand-picked by Frank Turner to play a Last Minutes show at his Lost Evenings festival, China Bears have released another fine indie-pop tune in the shape of ‘Night Calls’ – and it’s a hair-raising anthem tinged with regret.”
Singer/ songwriter Claudia Stark has been inspiring audiences for over 4 years with her thought provoking, mindful songs.
Becoming increasingly aware of the struggles and injustices faced by those around her, Claudia first picked up a guitar in an attempt to have her opinions heard. She headlined The Boileroom in Guildford in 2017 and launched of single ‘Too Soon’, and is now concentrating on writing new songs for her 3rd EP. Claudia has been described as performing “with a ton of guts, passion, and at times brutal intensity” (The Musical Melting Pot) which is entirely in keeping with the fierce subjects of which she writes.
The Mighty Floron return with a brand new set after a prolonged musical break. Floron’s way with catchy melodies and singing style reminds you of great artists like John Lennon and David Bowie, but his songs remain totally unique – lyrically captivating and always with a twist of the unexpected. Floron supported The Smiths, Paul Young and The Jam back in the 80’s. Check out albums Us, Red to White Light and Thunderstruck on CD Baby.
