The Haslemere Fringe Festival is a charity event run and supported entirely by our fantastic volunteer network from the local community and beyond.   The next Fringe Festival will now run from Friday 1st July 2022 to Sunday 3rd July 2022, with Set up from Wednesday 29th June and Take down on Monday 4th July.   Volunteers are vital to the vibrancy and smooth running of our event and most importantly to keep our ticket prices affordable. Volunteering also offers a great opportunity to meet new friends and be involved in a brilliant community event, and we reward with free entry to the day of the festival on which you volunteer.

We are looking for volunteers to help with the following:

Bar: To be able to do simple additions, handle cash and work at a fairly busy pace. Serving customers, Taking money, Keeping the bar area clean and tidy, Taking instruction from manager.

Gate: Welcoming our festival folk, Taking money, Scanning tickets, Issuing wristbands. Training will be given on arrival for simple operation of above.

Stewarding: Patrolling around the site or stationed at points allocated (you will not be left in one position) Litter picking, Gate duty or any other general helping out as requested by your site manager.

Set up: To help set up the general infrastructure prior to opening. This role requires a degree of strength and agility.

Take down: On the Monday after the festival to take down fencing and infrastructure and any other jobs that the site manager may request of you.  As above this will require a degree of strength and agility.

Media: To create and post content to Social Media ( primarily Instagram, Facebook and Twitter ) including updates, photographs short videos of people who are attending or taking part in the festival .Your content may also be used on the big stage screen throughout the festival. Good communication skills and some experience and knowledge of the above will be required.

Each shift will be 3 hours and the rest of that day will be free for you to enjoy the festival
