Saturday 2nd July - Etta Ermini
Headlining the Saturday 2nd July Fringe Dance festival 2016 will be the internationally acclaimed Etta Ermini Dance Theatre company with their contemporary piece Bar Story.
Bar Story is a new outdoor work created in collaboration between Artstrust Productions and Etta Ermini Dance Theatre.
It’s late afternoon, and two bartenders open for business. Patrons arrive and place their orders. As they get more communicative, their sudden changes of mood and interaction with the bar staff create comical encounters and chaotic situations. Arena Dance - Shiela's Hoopers
Powerhoop is a fitness concept using a weighted hoop – and there’s no doubt that it has a definite effect on the body’s core muscles. It slims the waist, strengthens the muscles in the abdomen and the lower back and tones the hips, thighs and stomach – but more than that, it’s fun.
The team powerhooping today include hoopers from Sussex, Kent and Yorkshire who have come together for the occasion and are delighted to be here.
The routines they have choreographed challenge the muscles – when watching, please remember these hoops weigh 4 to 5lbs. Anyone interested in having lessons or training to teach, do get in touch.
